when i first start the car and pull away,when i change to second it sort of crunches but it only does it that once. and more so when its cold if i go back to the car hours latter it doesnt do it, its always on the first start of everyday. does or has any one had this same affect....

no, each gear has it own syncro.

its unusual for it to occur with 2nd gear though, usually 4th gear syncro is the weak one.

ย 

Check gearbox oil level and it would be a good idea to replace it. Redline MT90 is popular for solving syncro crunch issues.

the car has'nt done any real milage since i had it changed could the clutch fluid loose its viscosity its strange how it only does it once when its first started. will try that anyway thanks

No help to you I know but my 2nd gear crunches if I try anything other than a slow change
