hi, wonder if someone can help!

i am attempting to fit a profec e-01 boost con but on the diagrams they do not show connection to a twin turbo, only single. does anyone know if i need two valve units or can i just use a couple of t peices to connect into the same tubes used for the one? if that makes sense?!

the valve unit connects one tube to the actuator and one to the pipe going to the intercooler! can i just t into these two tubes?

thanks

you only need one valve mate and use T pieces. You need to cut the wastegate actuator lines on both sides and then use silicone to extend each to where your valve is. T both sides to create your 2 connections to the valve and thats it.

ahh i added more to my response :) you cant just T into the wastegate pipes

btw are these things easy to fit lol

im wondering whether its just easier to take it to a place and say fit it and map it!

i got the emanage too! but that looks easy to connect in!

cheers

boost controller is quite easy but emanage would be a different story. If you unsure about any aspect of this then i would get someone to do it. You could kill your engine quite easily with these things.

ah ok that sound simple enough! what about the tube going to the intercooler, does the valve unit only need the one input from that or does it need input from both intercooler pipes?

i mean if the engine is ok they should both be the same shouldnt they!!!

cheers

them back lights look quite cool in black init!!

i always wondered if i get them for mine it would look to white, but black looks quite cool! plus u dont have to match the paint then do u!

find your wastegates and there is a vacuum pipe coming from them. you need the valve to sit on this line on both sides otherwise you will only activate one wastegate!

because you have to do both this is why you extend the vacuum piping to a central area where your valve is.

Basically you are going to cut both wastegate lines, join each side together. Make sure the pipe going to the wastegate on the left is joined to the pipe going to the wastegate on the right. Do the same with the other half of the cut wastegate line. You should now have 2 loops and you can now T into them for the valve and that way the valve controls when your wastegate's open.

Make sense? Cause if it doesnt, dont do it :D

Long time no see Lee! I bet you've forgot who I am LOL

As Pete said, make 2 equal length lines and tee them together at the rear of the engine, then run the other pipe from the tee to the solenoid, then the other side of the solenoid to a redundant point from the original wastgate pipes.

When JD fitted my E-01 he used the one on the passenger side, and blocked the drivers side up.
