im running front and rears, not sure on difference as i never raced her without but, its really tight in the corners now tho

i have them and she sticks to corners like poo to your finger...

was on the car when i got it sorry

some bodypanel work needed to the rear strut

Avoid cheap versions, such as those found on ebay. Unless you want them only for looks. They are weak and flimsy with hinged ends and often have bad fitment.

There are very few braces that actually do there job properly..... 'Carbing' would be my recomendation.

Cusco rear are good as well, ive got a carbing copy from ebay seems ok quality one piece.

Is anyone running both front and rear strut braces?

If so what make, how much and how does the car compare?

hey there

am running front and rear strut bars.

did not have them when i got the car. got 2fast2cool on the front, good bit of kit, quite heavy, but sturdy.

rear is from u.s. is ok but got hinges and fit not that good, as "legrath" said.

she handles much better than without, more tighter on a fast bend.

carbing is the best, but at a price.

alan.

Please see my response to your post over in the DTA-Motorsport Traders Section. I have several options available.

Definitely avoid Ebay. I bought one for a previous Zed and when fitted the bonnet would not close because the bracket that mounts on top the strut was too high. I even removed the sound deadening trim to no avail. Even with just a front strut fitted the handling is much improved, sadly to fit the rear you have to cut the trim around the shock absorbers and of course on a 2+2 would then intrude into your luggage space.
