ive just bought it off a mate and its just gotta get mot'd hopefully should have it by wednesday. Cant wait as ive not drove it yet cant wait to see what a zeds like lol.

shudnt be dissapointed im going from a 1.8 civic vti to a twin turbo zed lol.

nice one mate, i dont live too far away so me and a mate will be there in my zed. its always good to see new faces. any idea on people attending and what cars theyre gonna bring?? anything going on, or is it just a 'turn up and chat about cars' meet?? (which of course i dont mind! lol!).

oh and turbokid, i also went from a civic (1.6 vti) to my zed back in november, it was like going from a pedal cart to a Formula 1 car!! lol! a word of warning though, if youve got a heavy foot be damn careful round them corners, rear wheel drive isnt that much fun if you find yourself going backwards! lmao!

 

All in all you made the best choice mate, you wont regret it.

Man i had a 1.8 Veccy then a TT zed! Its Such an Upgrade! IF you are disspointed i will have to shoot you :P Its a blast! Had mine for 9months now and i still get a huge buzz from the funny pedal under my right foot :P

 

Still find it funny when i thought my 1.8 was quick! you aint felt nothing yet my friend! Enjoy!

I dont realy know what to expect as i have never been before so i spose we`ll just have to suck it n see!! but its a good excuse to take the zed for a good blast and It would be nice to meet a few good people like your self!!

My sentiments exactly mate. Lets hope that the weather holds up. My brothers got a zed too, might ask him if he fancies popping along and we'll have abit of a zed get together if nothing else.

Just replaced the head gaskets on mine and had the heads skimmed, new water pump,cam belt & pully`s. O and a new set of spark plugs, Still got a fair bit to do on it but it is running now and still got a few months MOT so i will tax it tomorrow and take it out for its first blast for a long time.

:eek: :eek: :eek: sorry guys, looks like i might not be able to make it now, i was round at my g/f's and someone tried to nick my zed!! theyve even kicked the door in!! god knows how i didnt hear the alarm but when i went out to unlock it and it beeped four times telling me the drivers door sensor had been triggered, i knew i was in trouble. on the bright side, at least its built like a fortress and didnt get nicked. i was lucky this time...

 

if i sort it out tomorrow morning so that its safe and drivable i might still come to the meet, but it probably wont be a pretty sight, if for nothing else ill be there to meet some new faces and see some cool cars...

Well I went stayed about 2 hours and left. This was the worse one I have ever been to. I think there was a total of maybe 10 cars. I would have had more fun watching paint dry. I did see another 300 just has I was leaving heading towrds the meet but he would have found now one there :headvswal :headvswal

You obviously not been to a S Yorks meet, we get 3 cars and its classed as a mega meet lol!!

A total disaster!!!

I didnt get the zx ready in time but i thought id go down in me rover but didnt get there till 3!! bout 10 cars there when i arrived but no 300`s!!!

and a 3 quid charge to get on the fackin carpark so i left!!

O well we know for next time ha ha!!!!

Hey ceejay, that other zed was me mate (if it was a metallic red one that you saw that is) i take it that you were in a metallic yellow zed?? if you were i saw you flash me. It was a pity i was so/too late, but if youve read the rest of this thread youll know that i had my drivers door kicked in last night, but good old jeff at zedworld sorted me out and i fitted it as quick as i could, just not quick enough huh lol! I brought a few of my mates along so it was abit of a fun cruise for me anyway, so it wasnt a wasted trip in my eyes. When the next meet is around my area ill be there with my mates... afew more to add to the pile. See you next time maybe?

 

Oh and sharky, sorry to hear about your zed mate. While is was there i saw a white rover with a huge exhaust, its a long shot, but was that yours??

 

My zeds back to normal again now, and once again, many many thanks to jeff at zedworld, hes a sound guy.
