Hi, any one know what the difference is between the TT & NA OEM shocks, would fitting TT shocks to an NA be a worth while mod, are the TT & NA spring rates the same, would NA shocks and TT springs work ok?

cheers Paul

Same fitment. Same shocks, but the TT springs rates are slightly stiffer. For the cost of a Set fo New standard TT shocks and Springs you can get a set of adjusable uprated shocks and springs.

A worthwhile upgrade is to fit the Anti-roll bars from a TT, espcially the rear which is a lot thicker/stiffer than the NA version.

I believe they are all the same.

I also believe, but no doubt will be shot down in flames that the proper SWB rear springs are slightly shorter than the standard 2+2 springs and hence why lowering springs never seem to drop the rear end of the SWB enough, because nearly all springs sold in the Uk are for UK spec ie 2+2.

No shooting down etc. You are merely saying what I and others believe too. :)

Mike Feeney has a spec for "modified SWB" springs since he sent some to his spring maker :)

plus Europe & UK TT rears have actuators on them to turn from soft to hard
