When you say set/tune. What are you referring to? Do you have a mappable chip/aftermarket engine management?

Noble motorsports in chesterfield

Full setup is £140

But they are very good and know a thing or two about TT v6's as its the same engine config as the noble!

I'm planning on a club rr day there but not had much interest from the club.

Your ecu will only be tunable in the sense that it should be socketed to accept a chip with maps for mods and higher boost. You would need to buy the right chip to suit your mods.

Mines ECU is just another name for a different chip. It's not mappable. It has a different map on it though. RR will just show the power you're making. Won't do much else with what you currently have.

A bit more than that.

You will get accurate bhp, torque, a/f ratio etc

any drops in power, flat spots, danagerous a/f ratios can be spotted and corrected

The great thing about Noble is first tim e I had a leak. I would have execpted them to just say its not right get it fixed. But no they spent a long time diagnosing it and testing all my actuators etc. Eventually the leak was found and sorted.

Ay up Danny, Mikeanics Motorsport in Congleton is your nearest rolling road, he does a lot of race and rally car engine setups, but like Si says you will need a programmable ecu, mappable chip or similar so he can program the different parameters of the engine. Rolling road dyno runs are about £30 though if thats what you want.

Unless you have a mappable chip or ECU there's not much you can get other than an RR printout showing your bhp and torque curve. It'll show how good your fueling /boost is though and will indicate roughly whether your sensors and timing are all good.
