I just bought some grey suede to re-trim my interior pannels, its rubber backed and really good quality, it normally sells for £40 a metre, i got nearly 5m for £20. The guy says he has about half a ton in various colours and also 1 ton of leather in various colours and also alcantara.

Just thought i'd let you all know, if anyone's interested i'll post the details, i bought mine from ebay but he said he rarely lists on there. I'll post his ebay details in a minute, his names Garry. :duffer:

We have about half a ton of similar quality suede at the moment.....listing on eBay is very slow, we try to get the colours on screen spot on but it is very difficult.

 

I've got very little on eBay at the moment, I'm off to Ireland for a week, but towards the end of the month there will be loads appearing.

 

It's either water based FR on the reverse, a rubberised backcoat (like yours), Alcantara like, and we have several pieces of proper branded Alcantara.

 

We also have about 1 ton of full leather hides, not individual, but maybe four or five the same colour in a pack. Apparently the packs are worth £2K.

 

If someone wants a proper Pimp my Ride job it would be a great opportunity.

 

Like all our fabric, it's roll ends / order cancellations from Sofa Workshop. Nothing wrong with it, they double-charge the customers and throw all the surplus. The waste is really shocking to see.

i don't know if he has all the leather and suede/alcantara listed on ebay but you can contact him for pics, really nice guy, the suede i bought arrived today and i hadn't even paid fot it yet. :duffer:

cheers for that, I'm still a fair way from refitting the interior but no harm in getting the trim sorted now
