Glen, I thought with a nickname like "Senna" that you'd go for a balls-out NSX? Go on, you KNOW it makes sense, none of this drive-by-wire Skyline crap, get the car that the Master fine-tuned himself, and if you get bored of the NA power, slap on a Supercharger or 2! ;-)

With regards to the Skyline, I'm not calling the car shit by ANY means. I've got HUGE respect for the car and what it can do, but I think some of the electronic bits go a bit too far to take away the feel for the driving. The NSX on the other hand was developed under the guidance of the Master himself, and is supposed to be one of the best handling cars EVER made. No big surprise there, Ayrton knew his stuff. He was the DADDY! ;-)

 

If it couldn't be the NSX, I guess personally I'd go for a Supra myself if it had to have more than 2 seats. If I wanted a 4wheel drive machine, I'd go for the EVO6.

 

Skylines ARE the mutts nuts, though. If you've ever seen some of the video footage of the Big Boy Jap ones, then you can only drool and dream. Shame those Japs don't let us have their Good old ones - they tend to be kept in Japan.

I appreciate the NSX massively - but simply because it is so good it remains out of my price range... funny really because tonight I have been watching my Senna vidz .. a blinding qualification at Suzuka, an on the edge lap of Monaco.. Senna drove everything balls out.. would love to have some footage of him in an NSX - a car he said was the best car he had ever driven.. but I'd also love to have seen him cane a GTR around the Nurburgring...

Having stuck 19" rims on the BMW and stiffing up the suspension so there was no suspension (!) I got so pi55ed off with driving I sold it on.. I've had the cossie for about 6 months now... I love her to pieces but me being me I fancy a change... I'll no doubt regret selling this one as well!!I want about 15k for it (what it was valued at by the RSOC). She truly is a MINT concours potential car... So ask around bud if you know anyone!!
