Popped into the garage today to see how it was going and had a chat with the guy whos stripped the engine down and is re-building it.
Whole story of the blow up was because the previous owner had put new wisecos in but forgot to put the clips back on the pins so one came away from the rod and lunched the block.
Today though I found out that the tubs had not been connected to any boost control so were just going ballistic every time. The engine has been put back together with the wrong screws etc etc etc!!!
Be careful when purchasing these cars they end up in the hands of some serious monkeys cos theyre so cheap and end up like mine!
