Right guys ive found the problem its none of the above its to do with the cas just went to check the timing and was out so set it to the 15 deg btdc but when you tighten the bols up the car cuts out??? any idea's

or should i start a new thread

You sure that :-

a) you set the timing correctly (is the screw in the middle of the slot on the CAS) ?

b) the plug on the CAS is clean and installed securely ?

everything as how it should be , but soon as u push on the centre of the cas or do up the bolts is runs crap

Cas or timing wont have any influence on det sensor error code so If you have code34 you also have a det sensor problem too which means your car is in safety mode.

Check Det sensor loom connections, but otherwise I would consider Bypassing it.

that another job to do , thing is it looks like the resistor mod has been done , but looks to me like its a 10k resistor not a 1k. i dont no if that would make a difference though?
