Hi guys and girls .

well ive only owned my car a few days and ive started to get problems already they started yesterday when pulling off in my car it seems to have a big flat spot almost as if it over fuels for a split second and the car doesnt seem to pull as well as it should seems to get to about 4000 revs and hold back then goes again then holds back on and off i checked the plugs and there pretty black so getting some new 1s ( i no this wont help them being like that) also when i rev the car it splutters at at abot 1000 revs then pulls its like the car is reving really slow .. does anything im saying make any sense? lol

I doubt the dett sensor resistor will be fubar. More than likely sommat else.

right after cleaning most of the sensors i put it all back together and guess what :D:D:D ???

 

 

its missing on the 5th cylinder now lol but i have found that if i wiggle the injector wires it runs fine , so im taking the injector plugs off and doing them tommorrow, i think its had this problem a while and thats why the risistor was in the det sensor maybe the last owner thought it was that?

you can buy new injector connectors with wires which just need to be soldered in place as part of the existing loom

Det sensor fault will put it into safty boost but will not effect running, (safty boost is boot at 5psi)

93 tt auto was going well for the 1st few days then everything went t1ts up lol,

think i'll try cleaning the contacts 1st then if not i'll get some new ones

The Zed is normally reliable so dont get too worried about problems. You will see lots of help related questions, but thats what this place is for.

so far everyones been great with the advice , im not to worried about little teething problem but looking forward to sorting it out so i can see how the zed really drives, my cousin has 1 the same as mine and that pulls like a express train
