Just wondered what you all thought about under body neon lights (fast and furious stylee). Do u recon it looks really tacky due to loads of dickheads in shitty novas and stuff doing it or do u think it would look pretty darn groovy on a 300zx?

No i just thought that the look is pretty cool on loads of yank import cars ive seen when i was on holiday but its been ruined over here by absolute shite mobiles with brainless/dickless/styless drivers.

 

I guess that as the guy said, at the right time in the right place would be ok.

Done a simple blue neon bar on my Z in the front gap looks pretty cool

If you like it, then do it!!!

 

Just becuase some Nova driver has done it too, doesn't mean it always looks cr*p!!

 

I mean, they stick 4" exhaust trims on their standard backboxes, does that then mean it would look crap on any car? nope!!

Maybe blue would be quite nice with my illuminated rear pannel (also dark blue).

Oh, and don't go and fork out £150+ for a kit over here.

 

You can find loads of suppliers on US ebay with kits as cheap as $80-$90, that have a good reputation and will ship to the UK for next to nothing.

one thing though mate i was speakin to bloke at the acc. shop an he reckons some of the neon kits that are on the market are liable to smash cos their not really made 4 the road. some are better than others though apparently so shop around if ur gonna get em?
