no one done one of these then?

i got the mount waiting to be fitted?

Bloody hell give us a chance lol :D It IS possible, just fiddly! You may need to cut a spanner down in order to get to the top nut, 14mm btw :)

damn, so i need a tiny spanner for the top. isnt it gunu be too tight to undo? any tips?

Yep could well be tight lol. Thinking about it, depending on what tools you have you MAY be better removing the entire engine mount assembly from the block and doing it that way. The bolts attaching the alloy mount to the block are also 14mm... Be very carefull though that you don't crack the oil feed line to the passenger turbo if doing it that way - its secured at the pressure sender via one of the mount bolts...

but you cant get to them bolts either or can you? how many bolts are there on the bracket? as i remember seeing them from looking behine the engine, is there one more bolt infront that i cant see?

i have a good set of tools.

If you have a decent selection then try and just remove the rubber mount. The alloy mount has 4 bolts on it in a pretty much square pattern....

ok thanks andy.

one more thing

how much should i jack the engine up to remove it?

Enough to get it out lol. I would slacken the drivers side mount a bit though to give some extra movement so you don't tear that one
