hi there just a couple of ?

 

1.wot do i need to do to replace my factory stereo.

 

2.is there a bass box i can put in the boot that will give me good sound but not compromise my space, so im still able to put the roof in the boot.or will i need to coustomise the box.

 

3.will i need a bigger alternator or bigger battery,to help power the amp and so on.

 

4.as i have no no how when it comes to anything electric,any advise on this i would be totaly greatful.ie wot would be a good head unit for a start. :o :bow: :headvswal

3. No, Alternator and Battery will be fine as long as your not going for a Stupidly high wattage system

 

4. Depends on budget really. Stick to known brand names. Ideally with a built in amp that puts out 4x40w upwards. Aux or USB input is handy if you want to plug in an Ipod/Mp3 player.

I have one of these in the arm rest space on my BMW. The sound is good but it aint banging. There are other more powerful items about but with a decent head unit and component speakers it fills the car with plenty of bass.

I bought a set of specialy made Boxes that fit in the outer corners....and the roof still fits in the middle!

Dont look too difficult to make either!

There is a guy in the states that makes some quality subwoofer boot boxes for the z32, but he wont ship to the U.K :(
