hi bud remember that flip-down headset that i bought of you,the one you had to replace the ribbon well ime getting no power from the 2 pre-out leads, any idea what it could be or do you think ive fried the internal amp, the other 4 socketed pre-outs work fine but it seems ime not getting any voltage signal to my amp in the boot ????? :(

hi mate. from what i can remember, theres 2 sets of pre-outs for front and rear and maybe one pair for sub output, which iirc can be turned up and down via settings on the headunit.

yea its the sub output wich is showing no signal  its been such a powerfull head unit this and its a shame to bin it so do you think its fixable

have you adjusted the volume for it in the audio settings on headunit ?. if that doesnt work, you can still use a splitter on the rear output and adjust the gain on the amp to get the correct volume for the sub. i did have a sub running from it in mine but cant remember if i used the sub output.

thats good news mate, glad you sorted it. there was a way round it anyway so no need to have binned it :)
