Worth watching just to see the Quattro............... ;)

I got the sound track to the first series (life on mars), this one looks like it will be good too.

There was alot of real 80's cheese going on, the speed boat springs to mind.

But otherwise i think its got good potential!

I like the "You in leather, with that, gives me the horn!"

:D :D :D

As it's set in 1981, perhaps DCi Hunt should drive a 280ZX though....with a nice red interior!

I liked the Audi Quattro when it first came out, but got bored with the quattro tag being applied to everything by the end of the '80's!

I had one o` those !

Looks like Ashes to Ashes may be as addictive as Life On Mars :hyper:

It's funny seeing the original characters in their 80's clobber :D

Made me laugh

She looked good in that Dress :o

BUT i think I had an Anorack moment  That Quattro was plated as a

V 78/79 and the program is set in 81, I am sure the Quattro did not come out

till 83

;)

i cant remember if they were driving a left or right hooker?

To be honest, i dont really care. Its the best car by far that they could have used for the program. The phrase "Fire up the Quattro" is just fookin ace!

I Agree

Its just me being a sad Tw@t and thinking "Hang On" While watching

even the wife said "you sad CNUT2 when I pointed it out last night

Hi,

I think the Quattro used is actually a 1983 model, as a guy on Pistonheads reckons it's his old car!

The first Quattro imports were LHD only as well.

It doesn't really matter, as it doesn't affect the story and the Cortina used in Life On Mars was part 2000E and part GXL too!

It was originally a 1983 Y plate before being restored for filming and put on an earlier plate....They're all talking about it on the Quattro forum!
