honda prelude gearbox problems

has anybody here got any experience or know anything about the honda prelude auto box??

i have a 97 vti which has the tip tronic box which is causing me a major headache basically runs fine when cold but gears play up when at normal temp.

i wondered if its to do which pressure etc any advice would be welcome as a recon box costs about 800 quid!!!!
