i got meself one of them flash phones with amongst other things, GPS.

Have you got the full version or just the trial? And do you find the GPS module updates quickly enough for it to take accurate readings?

 

I've got TomTom6 on my mobile and find that there is a slight delay in the refresh rate (not sure if this is the software or the hardware)...

I'd be suprised if it could cope with the changes enough to be accurate. There is always a delay with GPS.

Standard GPS alone isn't accurate enough to do this properly. Remember that it's only accurate to within 3-5 metres.

good point. i'm using the demo at the moment, it rounds to 0.5s
