Cost of going on a public weigh bridge?

I know this will vary, but I can t see any prices on the net to get a rough idea... How much did you pay when you weighed yours?

    There are no fixed costs - Trading Standards just enforce procedures, nothing else. A friend of mine has one, so I use it for free... if you search for some in your area & tell them you just want to weigh a car and don't need a ticket they shouldn't charge you much as they won't have to fill out the paperwork/ keep the ticket etc...
