Right, I really need to get my car back on the road, i have a second hand Auto box ready and waiting to be fitted so im gonna have a crack at it this weekend. Is there anyone else in the area that could advise or help ?????????

 

ANY pictures or details for printing out would be VERY helpfull too!!

 

I have limited mechanical knowledge of the gearbox removal but am fairly compitent with a spanner

Does the new box have the torque convertor supplied with it or do you have to change the one over from your current box.

Oh sorry, i have the torque convertor and the first part of the prop shaft all attached to the new box, so will swap everything as i don't know where the vibration i had was coming from....

IM just down the road from CBR337 (Chris) he usually nicks most of my stuff and then his wife throws it away lol , i cant do this weekend, but next is ok.

Exelent thanks guys. i'll definately have a crack at getting it out and offering up the new one but might wait to fit the new one until next weeken. That way i'll get a new rear seal ordered. If poss could you PM me your No.s and i'll give you a call for some phone advice if i get stuck??

Im keeping quiet mate, but i will ask where my flywheel is, only to see the look on her face.

 

That prob with the fuel pump seems to have sorted its self out. Cheers for the advice re the relay.
