Castle Combe Spring Action Day

If its road legal, has four wheels and an engine chances are it will be eligible for our Performance Car Action Day.

 

Displays from some of the largest performance clubs, stands with lots of tuning parts and accessories and you have the reason why this day is so popular. Look out for trophies for the best car and best club stand of the show.

 

Open to anyone with a suitable car and current driving licence.

Your car will be on display at the 300zx.co.uk Club stand and 15min Track time sessions are available on the 1.85 mile Race track.

 

You do not have to put your car on the Track if you do not wish to.

The actual cost of admission works out at £7 per person and track time at £20 per session.

 

I have no idea if there is still club space...but if there is enough interest Perhaps Lisaf could organise, or if she prefers I can make the enquiries.... ?

Right, they have space for us on a Club stand!

 

Track time is 15mins. We can purchase a Pack of 6 track sessions for £100, additional track time is £20 per 15mins in advance (£30 per 15mins if booked on the day).

 

We get 12 free admission passes as a club, additional tickets are £8 per person. I will use the 12 free passes to bring the final cost down for all, so I can calculate final costs once we know numbers attending.

It says 100db on the Website, but have sent the organiser an email to confirm...

I'll post this on the Welsh region as it is less than a hour away.

Tax or Insurance not required if your bringing on trailer. Normal Road Insurance is not valid on the track. I've personally not seen or heard of anyone purchasing additional track insurance for the day.....but its always a good idea. Might look into it myself.

 

In regards to noise levels....At the Japfest events you see all sorts of Modified Jap cars on the track every year, most zed's have no problem but I have seen a couple turned away before (MickeyB was one with a 102db recording, I think he had a straight through Alunox decatted custom setup) ...
