Seatbelt reconditioning/servicing.

Does anyone know of any companies that do this? I suspect not as I've had a hunt around. Want that new feeling you get when the seatbelt recoils quickly and also considering changing the webbing to another colour.

Have seen several belt/webbing variations on Zed's.....not sure if its just Changed throughout years or if there is a non-oem supplier !?

I know that USDM Z32s with tan interior had like a grey-ish seat belts. I'm more interested in getting a new-feeling recoil action on them to be honest.

I meant within the UK, there is definatly a belt variation which may indicate that there is a supplier out there for a Patten(non-oem) Seat belt unit.

...or it could just be that they they changed them in later years and thats why....just a thought

Is it not possible to take it to bits and do it yourself? Or is there alot involved with this? I fixed a seatbelt in a car once, seemed pretty simple once it was in bits, however i was not reconditioning it, i was merely getting it working properly again as it was sticking from time to time. :)

They aren't broken. I just want the springs and bearing renewed and possibly the webbing. The huge coil spring is a nightmare. I'd sooner not touch that as if that uncoils, you have a ruined seatbelt.

Just a thought but what about other Nissan models?-o.k some will be SRS but you wont need that and I'm sure the mountings are a standardised size.

Like I say,just an idea! ;)
