If you have 30-40K at your disposal, you can get 600-700 BHP if that is within your definition of supercharge.

Simply said, you need to change almost everything in your engine.

I strongly advice you to find the best man you can get in UK for the job.

There are many variables, and they need to fit together.

There are many workshops who claim they can do it.

Ask for references !! Do NOT go for an "expert" without references.

And be patient. A lot of money and parience are the main ingrediences.

I know it's not quite the same but I did a conversion on a 2.0 16v Peugeot mi engine in a 205 with a rotrex charger. With a bit of work and standard internals got it from 160bhp to 235bhp. Supercharging is far easier than turbo charging a NA engine.

Not in the case of the Z32, where all you have to do is bolt on the TT parts to the NA engine to turbocharge it, whereas Supercharging would require custom parts.

There have been a couple of supercharged Z32's in the states. Superchargers were mounted in place of the Aircon pump.
