I've recently had a re-con gearbox fitted but noticed on collection some oil had leaked as the drain plug was loose!!!!!

Rather than re-fill with new oil i just added some MT90 although not sure what was in there already.....

Anyway, i now find that after driving for a while the gears seem slightly harder to change almost as if someone has added treacle to it, could it be the oil as i'm using two different types or should i drain it all out and re-fill with all the same oil???

Cheers

for safetys sake alex i would drain and refill it with the proper fluid, at least then you can rule out oil problems.
