Bought a £180 digital photography camera from currys for my girlfriend as a Christmas present. And four months down the line was going to use it to take some pics............and i dropped it :headvswal , when I switch it on the LCD screen looks cracked and comes up with a zoom error code!

 

Any help or advice much appreciated. :(

Nope, manufacturers warranties don't cover butterfingeritis...

 

Unless the device was marketed as 'shock proof' (I'm thinking of the one they advertise on telly with the kid throwing it about) - there you might have an argument ;)

Yup, that's what I'd do......

 

......but you must have accidental damage/personal effects cover added to your contents policy to make the claim!
