Give up you silly beggers

Sorry, we just tryin to put a bit of fun into an otherwise miserable day :mac1: :D

You've given up already? Pussy  ;)

Well you know what they say i'm easy :slap:

Also it is a long time since Blue prints have been used. however you will also find that the term Blue Print has over the years through useage accrued a legal definition as the "Master Copy" and it is more in these terms that tuners talk. I am old enough to remember using Blue prints as a technical illustrator to translate into technical illustrations in the pre CAD and MAC days.

Then, I expect you would remember that the allowed tolerances during manufacture are clearly stated on the drawing, usually in a manner similar too:-

"All dimension tolerances + or - 8 microns unless otherwise stated"

And manufacturing tolerances are set before the design stage, by the manufacturer not the designer and will depend on the accuracy of there production equipment. There are not subject to change, due to the issues it would eventually cause in parts manufacturing, engine build process, product reliability, and power output stability.

Actually it would appear that plenty of people on this thread know the difference between a tolerance and a dimension, and many more people other than engineers do.

You should know then, that any part manufactured outside it stated manufacturing tolerances will not pass the quality inspection process.

Class opening gambit of an argument or vailed threat of shut it or else

Your interpretation, but definitely not mine. But hey, on you go.

Then you freely admit that your statement of No Japanese Blueprints being releast to the UK was a silly remark

A silly remark, I don't think so. But feel free to prove me wrong. Post up a set of "Master Copy" CAD or MAC engineer's drawings for a Japanese engine of the era this thread. Not just make simple blanket statements

but try to justify it be saying

As far as Mugen go, the have very strong links with Honda, in fact the do the Motorsport tuning for Honda in europe.

By Mugen, I presumed it was the same company that took over Honda's F1 engines, when Honda pulled out of F1 around the early nineties. The company started by a family member of the Chairman of Honda, his son or grandson I believe.

All I will say is it would be prudent and intelegent to not make groundless assumptions before offering what I will loosely call advice. Thanks Dad.

Shorley it might be prudent to follow your own advice. It quite hypocritical of you not to. I feel that if you are going to give advice, Mark, it's better to give accurate advice, than inaccurate advice, using incorrect terms in a blanket method.

Please read and comprehend what people are saying before posting condersending snide remarks..

I believe, I didn't make condescending or snide remarks in my first post, but only tried to correct a common misconception.

Any one can slagg people off it is hardly friendly or in the nature of what the club is about.

Again, perhaps you take your own advice. If someone tries to give a more accurate definition of a term, and explain what it really means, rather than taking offence, then posting in a condescending and patronizing way,in an attempt to belittle anyone that disagrees with you. Hence the reason you got a taste of you own medicine in my second post.Try reading the post calmly and comprehend the difference. We're all wrong sometimes, even you.

If you want to continue this perhaps you would prefer to do by Pm as offered in my second post.

Mate I really suggest you go back and reread what people have said. Also in a generalist discussion people arn't going to talk in exact dimentions of specific parts, because, A) this isn't an machanical engineering forum and B) the original question was

Please can anyone decribe the process, and would it be adventagous to the Z32 TT engine?

The next but one responce was

Blueprintig is a proces(sp) whereby the whole engine is stripped and ALL the tolerances are checked and put to the absolute perfect state as first designed in the engine blueprint. As tooling wears out the tolerances become slacker, a good example is the honda KA20 engine found in the type R the units produced at the start of the re-tool made upto 230hp on the engine dyno whereas the ones just before often only made 195hp. most engines are rarely spot on so a blueprint would give you better economy and performance.

Thus a discusion started.

Then your coments. What advice was incorrect in this thread? Who are you putting right?

What does it matter who owns a company if your talking about where its based?

Are you girls still fighting? lol

How about a nice glass of lemonade ?

Maybe a cookie and a hug as well ?

What kind of cookies?

ooh can i come

not sainsburys taste the difference raspberry & choccie ones from the bakery?? there made to sainsburys origional blue print apparently!! :D can anyone explain that process to me??!!

Yeah I can.

1) They start with a reciepe and some ingredients, then they add it all together and pass it to the cookie fairy. The cookie fairy casts the magic cookie spell on it to add that special cookie flavor taste, then she put's it in the oven.

2) Then they are put on the shelves nice and warm for that just cooked taste. If they get cold they are taken off the shelves and some spotty dude coughs on them and put them in the microwave for 15 seconds then back on the shelve for that jsut cooked taste.

3) If they get cold again go back to step 2. Repaeat these steps for 3 days or until cookies are sold.

You got to have the bakers original weighing scales and ware blue underpants on your head. Sainsbury's however have put them in a cupboard and said they arn't to be let out the shop.

Maryland or Foxes (double choclate chip of course).

HOOOOO you little minx :slap:

This makes me laugh how would you know how many microns from the floor to put the shelfs for them. And if you were a baker you'd know that with out the cooling procces being within tolerance they would not meet the inspection proccess. :slap:

Ah see, you would need the blueprint for the shelves and some sort of interfacing diagram if you wanted to know relationship between cookies and shelf to reach maximum cooling potential.

Yeah but we are talking about Sainsbury's here, they are not real bakers, they just have a beeper on the oven and silly hats.

how much tolerence is there for dimensions & mass of each ingredient being mixed?? if the cookies are blueprinted will they taste better?! how would the coefficent of drag on different baking tray surfaces affect the outcome when they are removed from the tray??!? cookie tuning is very complex :D

Easy 4.7 microns per kg unless you have heavy limescale which can cause a varience of 0.3

Thats easy, using a simple equation involving mass of cookie and the 'Coefficient Of Chocolate Koating' (COCK). Don't think I've spelt koating wrong either, the C is replaced with a K when talking cookie tuning....

You forgot to mention the varience caused by the The Water Alcaline Texture

See what happens when you go into too much detail.

It started off with a simple "Want a cookie"

It's then gone stupidly detailed and now the cookie is ruined.

Not at all - we're fine tuning the cookie theory in order to produce the ultimate cookie!!!!

You're stating the obvious there though Mark! Everyone knows that when talking TWAT then COCK must also be entered into it ;)

you lot are crazy, just my type of people :smash:
