nice quick motors, my mate is also selling his, 470bhp proven, lovely cars and about the same on reliability as a zed! both had our engines out twice in two years :D

nice...lovely....what !! awful cars

If you like sierras ( :slap: ) go for it

- not a cossie fan.

They have a cult following and sure, can be tuned to stratospheric levels.........

..........but at the end of the day it's still a Sierra ;)

I would not have one; then I would not have an Imprezza or Evo either. 4-door saloons, no matter how fast, do not do it for me. Except perhaps the latest M5. But then again it's a BMW :nono:

Richard :D

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

did they do a 4x4 cosworth - i thought the 4x4 was the 2.8i and the cosworth was the 2 litre turbo

regards,

alex

just look at the dash :hurl:

I i was to go for one it would have to be the older hatch back :mac1:

That's in good condition.....

......but way too much money for an old Sierra ;)

Now a Mk1 RS2000 or a Mk1 3.1 litre Capri is a different matter - proper old School cool.....

Anyone know the difference between the red and green cam covers on them?

I love the Manta and 240z as well. I thought the same as you about the Capri but as there are almost none left I have to admit I kind of like them now........

......but only the Mk1 version - although the last "280 Brooklands" has grown on me a bit :nono:

After "Life on Mars" (and seeing the actual car at the Classic Motor Show) I've started to like the Mk3 Cortina - I'd never buy one though

green is unleaded fuel, red is leaded

beat me to it........I had a 4x4 turbo taxi and loved it, standard apart from exhaust and filter but was still quite quick, would have another one anyday.

As someone has already stated, it is a Sierra which is Spanish for 'rust'. It a shame because the 4x4 Cosworth is a superb drive, and even the 2.9 engined standard 4x4 model was cracking, but you just don't see many around now.

What about the blue cover ones ?

ive had one mate cracking cars but unless its specced up your just sat in a sierra they need frequent oil changes too and mine went through tyres like there was no tommorow

Totally agree, although I do have a real thing for the Lotus Carlton. :)
