does anybody have or know of any links that give step by step guides to engine removal? also how long does it take roughly?

You will spend longer trying to get your head around how other people have pulled their engine out by reading a step by step guide then doing the job. I would allow yourself half a day as you have not pulled out the engine before, but as you will see from the forum, once you know what your doing it does'nt take that long......................300zx.org.uk, there is an article in there. It will prob take you around 6-8 hrs non-stop the first time, providing you dont have problems with seized nuts..etc

took us an hour and 15 minutes to get the engine out

Took us a day but we were taking our time labelling everything and listing any bits that broke :cry:

That was the 1st one we've (& last one hopefully!!!) done didn't bother labelling anything tho it all seemed to just slot back into place aswell had i stripped & back in within the day
