January 18, 200818 yr Hey Guys, Was searching for info on KYB AGX & Eibach springs and was trying to access this page: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=44300 But it says I don't have permission to access that page... is there something I'm supposed to do with my account to allow me to view it? Do I have to be a paid member? Thanks
January 18, 200818 yr Author given that i'm an australian member, is it possible to just allow me to view pages like these without all the other features a subscribed user gets? (eg i'm not going to need Group buy access, don't need to post classifieds, don't need the 300zx.uk webmail address, won't need trader discounts or membership pack...). Is it possible for international users (who just want to read/ask questions etc) to just get restricted access like this? cheers
January 18, 200818 yr in all fairness nor do I, but if that qualified everyone for a discount of free view then there whould be no website as there wouldnt be any funds to pay for it. although if you want info on them, post a request, im sure some nice person would reply with the info you need.
January 18, 200818 yr Author yeah i guess that's true. is it alright for me to ask if anyone who's read that review can summarize it for me? or email me a copy to read (if that's allowed... don't want to bend the rules or anything) thanks guys
January 18, 200818 yr bought from CZP in the states along with upper & lower front adjustable arms. these are excellent value for money & are a very nice upgrade from stock. front shocks are 4 way adjustable, rears are 8 way. i currently have the rears set at 6, & the fronts at 3. both adjustable on the car (unlike some where you have to remove the shocks!). rears via a knob at the base of the strut, fronts via a screw on top of the shaft accessed under the bonnet. the Eibach springs drop the ride nicely (.8") without going too far (which is what i wanted). after fitting the ride was firm but not too harsh, body roll when cornering is now minimal & greatly reduced from stock. very pleased with these :) I suspect you were expecting more. I can also vouch for the KYB AGX and Eibach combo, having fitted it to several Z32's. Night and Day handling difference and good ride quality. In fact usually better ride quality becuase your replacing worn old shocks. The adjustment knobs are easy to get to on both front and rear, and there is a noticeable difference with each adjustment. The Eibach springs are progressive so they soak up small bumps and poor road surfaces but stiffen up on hard cornering. They dont drop the car by as much as other options, about 0.8" all round. KYB AGX & Eibach are the most common suspension upgrade for the Z32.
January 18, 200818 yr Author oh i thought it was a big write-up review... still good info though. thanks
January 19, 200818 yr Author thanks for the advice legrath. eibach springs sound like they'd suit australian roads. since my car is a daily i don't want really stiff suspension. maybe this can now be moved to a different forum? cheers
