Few bits of interior trim I want spray chroming. Door handles namely. Can't be bothered to faff around with fitting Terrano II ones. Besides, I might get the glovebox handle done too.

i would seriously recommend fitting the terrano 11 ones 5 minute job. the spray chromed ones would not last with repeted use!! it will wear off rapidly with friction of your hands, the terrano ones are metal!!

Bacofoil is another option:)

You sure? A lot of car door handles are finished off with a hard waring chrome. Vacuum Metallising...

 

Did you end up fitting terrano door handles in the end Gaz?

I'll ask Andy Line for you. He knows of a very good chromers that is currently gold plating most of his engine along with his exhaust.

I stopped paying for it about 2 years ago after the zed was off the road for a year.

 

I'll dig out the old HTML docs and put some pics up here, if I get time tonight.

Jonce how well has the chrome finish lasted on yours? Mine has faded and pitted a bit so going to get it done again ... might use the people you mentioned above if you think that it was a good job and has lasted ok?

I bought everything you need to do your own chroming.... but have chickened out doing any. I might give it a go this weekend.

I had 2 sets pf headlight inserts done by VMC and they both pitted, they didn't want to know and said it was the plastic and not them. I'd never personally use them again.
