Hi guy's..

I'm looking to buy a short shifter for my UK TT.. Do any of you have any recommendations for a particular seller/product?

Any difference between UK & Japanese fitments?

Thanks for any help!!

UK / Jap are the same i think

2fast2cool is a top bloke on ebay and they are finished very nicely

He sells 2 piece polished shifters

If you have a nice gear shift gator and a nice knob oh-er.

then you probably won't need the polished one.

A while back Z center did a send and replace short shifter where you wuold send yours to Luke and he would send you back another that had been turned into a short shifter.

Easy to fit these from inside the car and while you are at it it's well worth replacing your gear shift bushes as well to give the gear stick a stiffer feel (i.e. no wobbling form left to right while in gear).

The 2fast 2cool are exactly the same as the nismo short shifter. I have fitted the Nismo to my Blue car and a 2fast 2cool to one of my SWB's and I would find it hard to tell them apart.

Polished Dropfordge Veridium Chrome Steel

I got mine from this guy... £12 cheaper same thing!

No sorry thats the one i got. from 800hp same s**t im sure :)

See the other post in this section for help with fitting it.

I've posted some diagrams up.

sorry to be a girlie but whats the benefit of a short shifter guys? no rude comments please - :D

It shortens the "throw" you have to make to change gears.

On a side note, I've got a "non-branded" Short Shifter Kit available at the astonishing price of £20 including P+P. This is a one-off price as I have no intentions of ever buying these in again. You would need to supply your own gear knob.

Hi,

Yes, I would imagine your Momo gearknow would fit. Best to let your mechanic fit it when your car is in for the other parts. Let me know if you definitely want it.

Cheers,
