hi im starting to tune my 300zx tt manual and im hopeing to achive around 360 - 380 and waz just wondering what it would take to reach this number ? so far i have apexi air filter , trust sp2 exasust system no cats , hks boost controller , and a zed world chippt ecu 2 b fitted.

A few years ago, I managed 374 BHP at thor with the following:

 

Apexi induction

Custom 3" exhaust (decatted - test pipes).

JWT chip

Boost controller running 16 psi

Howe Rad

Greddy IC's

Electric Fan

Lightweight underpulley

Skimmed and ported heads

 

Standard injectors, standard pistons and internals, standard turbo's.

You should get about 360 with those mods. You could replace the intercoolers which would get you up to and maybe just past 380.

Forgot to say that was Thor so it's RWHP or somewhere between the two.

ic that waz a good result wazn it ! i for got to mention im getting a front mount for it to, i just dont want to have to raise the boost to high to achieve big power i want relability as i will be doing a bit of driveing in it.how about cams do they make much of a difference ?

Do yourself a favour and decide what you want before you start buying bits. Then find out what you'll need to acheive what you'd like then have a think about what you can really aford. If that makes any sense.
