Is there a common problem with hazards not working???

i have changed the switch already with no luck.

i dont think its the relay as the indicators still click but when i turn on the hazards nothing happens. if i turn the hazards on while one of the indicators is flashing they stop altogether??????

the wiring diagram shows a control box where is it?

push section with the indicatoriof the hazard switch catching on the dash pod causing it not to work . try prising it gently upwards towards the window screen and see if it cures it!

Take the switch out and see if it works out of the housing - the brackets are weak as fuck and don't allow the switch to travel all the way back to engage it...

So what we saying then? if its not the switch what else could it be? unless both switches i put on are pooped? the new one was used also, but was told it was working??

yeah suppose it cant be anything else... unless the previous owner has done some silly modification and mixed up the wiring,,, hmmm il have to have a look at that.

anyone got a spare switch i could try?

Will have a look for you tomorrow :)

Didn't know donkeys needed MOTs? I would have thought they'd be fucked on the emissions side of things

  • Author

Yeah they still need mots, got to make sure all four legs are tracked, the sadle has to be present with no rips or tears. tread on the hoofs.......

Do they need fog lights if they're imported? Where would you fit the illuminated switch? More worrying, where the hell would you get the power from?

  • Author

shes an arabian import...... She came with sand storm lights as standard. power comes from a unique source..... The acid from the donkey sh1t is collected left to decay for a week or so then used as a power source. a zinc nail and a copper penny must be carried in the toolbag to create the poo battery.
