One of my lads has gone to a academy to train to become a pro, he's been back all xmas but till today I havent had a chance to have a hit with him.

Last year I beat him 6.4 5.7 6.4.

Since tehn I have had 2 busted shoulders, 1 took ages to sort and the other was recent, this along with Rhumatoid Arthritis in my feet and right hip. But everyone is asking hows Tim progressing. Today I found out.

I lost 6.1 (won 6 points total) 6.4. Now that sounds ok, but here is the realy demoralising part, I had to serve from teh service line, and I was smacking them as hard as i could becasue I couldnt move at teh back and to at least give him a game I figured this was my best bet.

I'm absoutly proud as fook he's got that good but at teh same time I just want to get drunk, cry as I have gone from being able to tare round the court, to woddle like an old far in less than 12 months. And its only going to get worce.

he giveth with one hand and take it away with teh other.
