Couple of styling thoughts for the respray

Well the car passed the MOT yesterday so it's all good for the respray... yay!!

 

Couple of thoughts though. I was wanting a 99 spec bumper but can't really afford 500 quid on top of the respray so was thinking about removing the veins accoss the intercooler vents on the bumper I already got to make it a little different, has anyone done this? Firstly is it possible without the bumper falling to bits and does it look alright??

 

I was also thinking about doing the whole roof in black so it just blends in with the screen. Again has anyone done this and does it look good??

    not sure about the bumper, i dont think it would fall apart, but as for the roof have a look at stellaz car cos hes done the roof and bonnet on his

    there is a red Z on here with the intercooler vents cut out but cant think for the life of me who it is!

    personally not a fan...each to their own though!

     

    quite a few have done the black roof - think that does look good!

    What vents do you mean? just taking the bars out the stock bumper vents?

     

    I have a stillen bumper which I like.

     

    My roof is getting done black soon but only the two strips either side of the t tops.

    HI This is what i modified my std front bumper to look like, it was a lot of work and cost a fair bit in materials and paint etc but i think it was worth it in the end... :dance:
