I am entering a team into this years 24hr karting race at Le Mans this July 5th-6th and have a couple of slots which could be potentially available.

 

Is there anyone who might be interested. I cant confirm places yet, but I would like to see if anyone would be interested in what is a really exciting weekend.

Team entry is £2500 but there is a maximum discount to £2k if it is paid by the begining of Feb....

 

For a team of 6 which for the past 2 times I have done it is optimal costs work out at around £500 for the whole weekend.

Me and my buddy John would be up for this. We have both done Single seat racing, + John was a junior speedway champion I used to do production bike racing (400 and 350cc) and both done Prokarts and K Karts. Also had plenty of practice in a 2003 F1 kart. Both very competertive so wouldn't be there just to make up the numbers.

 

What type of Karts are they etc???

Im going to Le-Mans Ner ner ne ner ner

I went to Le Mans.

 

I saw

I drove

I found out I was fat

I found out I was faster then the rest of the team ner ner ne ner ner

I found out that track control arms are important going round corners and that thoes tyre barriers realy do stop you.

 

Got to say it was an absolute awsome weekend bar none. Better than Nurburgring, better than any track day. What an absolute laugh.

 

Big thanks to stevie for organising this, officialy a top bloke, had a great trip down in his mates petes campa-van. what a laugh.

 

Sign us up for next year, no matter what I am doing this again.

actualy next year it might be worth a few more teams entering form here. You wont get as good a bang for your bucks I can assure you.

Ye karting great fun bet you had a brill time especially on that track,well worth the money...I would deffo be up for this but would need to get a bit fitter,lol as it is damn hard work,lol:hyper:

The gadgetman took loads of vid clips, granted his helmet cam took a lot of the road and not much else, and I disconected mine after a few laps because I span off in the wet with slicks on. But I span off in teh dry too lol.

 

I am sure steve will post some stuff up soon.

I have 9hrs of footage from the weekend that I will need to wade through to make short 5 minute clip for here and hopefully a DVD for those who went....

1hr stints doing approximately 1minute laps. Including the change over I reckon we did about 50 laps per hour.

Plus im older and heavier than you so shurrup lol

Telemetry be dammed, the only way anyone else was faster than me was because you where pushed round and you know it slow poke.
