Is it better to buy a LHD car in this country and then drive it over to Italy or buy on in Italy. I know Italy has all LHD cars but ive been told they are quite expensive there.

Depends if you buy new or not.

Buy over here anf then you can drive it over there for 12 months before you have to register it in Italy. Unless you keep a UK residencey and can show that you and the car are out off Italy for 3 months of every year.

Unfortunatley not, we purchased a house in Sardinia to rent out as a holiday home as a business venture/investment, using some of the capital from our current house. Probally selling the zed in the summer to help fund it. Bit of a gamble but hopfully sell the italian house in a few years and use the money to get us a bigger house in the UK. Unfortunatley 2 bed houses and 2 kids is a bit cramped. We got a good deal on the house as it was bought as a run down reck and has been virtually rebuilt FOC by father in law.
