I have read lots and lots of info on HICAS and its removal on this site and it has been very useful.

What seemed to be lacking (or at least I could not find it) is a clear list of who supplies the HICAS eliminator bars, what sort they are and how much they cost.

Who has bought them and where from?

yes, you can get off ebay, but have they been tried and tested by anyone ?. dont forget, these are the only thing that hold your rear wheels in place, so have to be right.

Soz mate fraid i don't to hand. I use this one on my car and then binned the entire hicas system afterwards, lines an all. Save's some weight when the hicas is disabled though :)

You done what! for the PAS pot either buy one from an N/A approx 20 quid or just cut or plug one of the bottom outlets on the existing pot fella.

my hicas bushes are worn, will an hicas eliminator save me the trouble of actually having to replace them, is it easier to do than the bushes

Hey Smithy

I wanted the whole kit so that I can tidy it up. At the moment it looks like somone did it with a spoon!

Nope thats exactly what i wanted to do to save the bother of paying 100 quid for inner hicas bushes :( The eliminator still requires all the hicas bushes inners and outers what a bummer.

Correct...except for the SPL version that Smithy sells, its more expensive but it does replace the inner joints too. Worn outers still would need replacing though. :(

or do what Im in the middle of doing and replace the entire TT rear end, with a complete NA subframe, diff...etc and tada.......no more hicas, about 60kg less weight and a 4.10 rear gear ratio or significantly improved acceleration :D
