Fixed Grand Prix!!!!!!

OMG!!!

What a fix, Barrichello left on the jacks.

Whould this have anything to do with if Schumacher wins and Barrichello doesnt come 2nd he gets the fastest F1 world championship. I think so. It would look embarassing if they are they are 1,2 and tell Barrichello to drop a place. Then the shit would hit the fan. So what they do? Make sure he doesnt start, or start at the back. mad.gif

You NEVER leave a car on the jack. That is 1 persons job. To Jack it up and let it down and he forgot. Come on.

Irvine 3-4 years ago when he would have won the World Championship. Again an embarassing moment if thier £50,000,000 a year driver fails to take home the F1 Championship to Ferrari but thier £5,000,000 second driver did. So what happened? Tyres coming off half way down the pit lane. Only bringing out 3 tyres on a change and taking 30 seconds to find another one. Was the person who forgot to bring the wheel out the same person who forgot to take the jack off the car. You look there is alwasy a rack of tyres behind them at pitstops. But not that time mad.gif

Ferrari are just SOOOO bent its unreal.

I am not saying that these things cant happen. I have never seen it happen before to any team but the most experienced and said to be the best team in F1 make a fuck up these and always at the time when it would favour thier most highley paid F1 driver of all time.

Sorry it bent. BENT BENT BENT!!!!

People are saying that F1 is getting boring. No wonder, every time there is a challenge, Ferrari make sure that Schumacher come on top. mad.gif

Pissed off

They tried legitimate legal team orders, and everyone bood about that, even pushing the fia to take them to a tribunal, when they had done nothing wrong. Ferrari was proved right and not guilty of anything, thats why the fia had to fine schumacher and barrichello of insulting the trophy guy cos they switched places and gave each other ther trophies. Thats all the fia could do!

So when they do something totally legal and legitimate, everyone wants to literally piss on them. So they have to do something a little more underhanded to get the result they want. It happens in all motorsport, in all team sport probably. Tour de france, rally etc etc its just that F1 is a little more in the limelight (despite ITV attempts to only show us about 1 lap hehehe) that people pick up on it.

But it happens all the time and is perfectly legal, its up to the team if they choose to do it.

And it stinks, hehehe

FERRARI ARE NOT BENT per se, its just that ferrari are the only team at the moment who have the opportunity to do it, as they have two great driver who both have the chance of winning.

If any other team was in the position that Ferrari is in, they wouldnt hesitate to do the same, as its been proven many time in the past with f1 too. Just that more often than not, teams dont have two great drivers. barrichello knew when he signed his contract he would be number 2, if he doesnt like it then he shouldnt have signed i guess.

I agree its not very nice, not nice at all, but thats what the sport is and what is always has been!

Ill be off now

biyeeeeeee

OMG, Stuart, do you know ANYTHING about todays race??

It wasn't just Barrichello coming second that would have delayed the championship, it needed Montoya to finish lower then second too. Since Montoya was on pole, its not really something that can be engineered by Ferrari now is it? Did Ferrari engineer Montoyas Williams to be too hard to tyres? I doubt that. Did Ferrari engineer all the other cars in the pitlane to be vastly inferior this year, I doubt it. GET A GRIP!

By Rubens having those electrical problems (which is why he was still on jacks, the second steering wheel he tried still didn't work), they threw away any chance of winning the constructors championship. Not very likely for a constructor to want to do that, is it? If you had bothered to listen to Martin Brundle, you would have also heard him say that he heard Rubens' car earlier sounding rough when he tried a practice start. So, what do Ferrari do? Leave his car up on jacks since they need it there to start again, or get a penalty for being on the grid 15 seconds before the start, or expect Rubens to go and win the race with a car with screwed electronics and no steering wheel? I doubt Schumacher, Senna, Fangio or any other great driver could manage to drive an F1 car without a steering wheel.

It's just sad when you hear people jumping to conclusions like this. Just shows a complete lack of knowledge of the sport.

Andy

Yeah.....the conspiracy theorists are out again.

I just wonder how much cash Ferrari had sling Kimi Raikonnen's way to 'make him' have an off........LMBO

Yes I do know about F1. I know alot. And you are so nieve to think that everything is hunky-dory.

Yes I did know the Montoya had to finish 3rd or worse too!!!!!

I was saying that with all the bad press about Rubens pulling over early on in the season, it would look even more terrible is Rubens was told to drop to 3rd place, providing that Montoya wasnt there. So they made sure that he wasnt in contention.

Funny how its all happened to 1 Ferrari and its never been Schumacher's.

If you think the Ferrari is really just 1 team you know nothing. There will be one set of mechanics and technitions for Schumacher and one for Rubins, and Schumacher will have all the best people

Stuart

schumy is a god and ferrari are awesome..........remember when he first join the prancing horseman and they were all but written off well who has the last laugh now hats off to both of em i say and roll on next years domination.....why is it people slag winners off this is why britain is where its at today because it always supports the loser or underdog

Do you think that Ferrari would have made Rubens drop to 3rd place or lower? After all, a 1-2 would have really helped them with the constructors chamoionship (something that, as constructors, means quite a lot to an F1 team!). It was all a matter of time for the drivers championship. At Austria, Michael had a very nice lead, but the championship was by no means a done deal. At the start of this weekend, things were very different, the things that would have to happen for Michael to not win the championship were next to impossible, even if he were to break a leg again. There is only 1 person capable of winning 6 races in a row - and he just won the F1 Championship today smile.gif

Ferrari is 1 team, but as you point out, each driver has there own technical staff (as they do in every other team). Why are you singling Ferrari out for this? OK, so Schumachers tech team will undoubtably be the more skillfull (which I can't blame the team for, he is their best chance to win a championship) but are you saying that Ferrari deliberately employ a group of YTS muppets to look after Rubens? After all, Coulthard knicked all the best staff for himself when Mika left McLaren, what's the problem? It is strange that Rubens has more failures, but maybe he doesn't look after the car as well as Michael. Do you remember Frenzten when he was at Williams being too harsh with the car and always suffering failures? Same could be true of Rubens.

But maybe you're right:

1) Ferrari paid McNish to spin in just that spot to drop oil for Kimi to screw up on

2) Ferrari were actually the people who designed the Williams, and made it so that it could get pole, but ate rear tyres within 10 laps

3) Ferrari gave Kimi a secret 10 year contract with them just in case the "oil plan" didn't work

4) Rubens' tech team were responsible for the death of Princess Di

5) Jean Todt is the guy behind all the crop circles

6) Michael Schumacher is responsible for global warming and the collapse of the World Trade Towers

Oh, and just for you to get started for next year, Ferrari are designing all of the cars on the grid next year (again!). Here is what will happen:

Arrows - they will go bust, saving Ferrari some money designing their car next year

BAR - will still be crap. Ferrari will also engineer it so that Panis is again mysteriously quicker than ex world champ Villeneueve

Jaguar - Ferrari will give them a few more decent bits to get them mid field, and sack Nikki Lauda

Jordan - Well, not even Ferrari can save Jordan

McLaren - Ferrari will make the McLaren quick, but just not quick enough. Of course, there is only so much speed that Ferrari can give a car that is driven by David Coulthard

Minardi - Ferrari will tell them to get rid of Yoong, but wont improve the car and they will still be back of the grid (unless Ferrari engineer Rubens to have grid problems, in which case he will start at the back of the grid)

Renault - Ferrari will again give them a few more bits, but they will still be the 4th best team

Sauber - Ferrari already help them enough, and it's out in the public. Shock horror.

Toyota - Ferrari will insist that they drop McNish as soon as possible. They will not help them with the car at all.

Williams - Ferrari will again design the car to be to hard on tyres, but also make the BMW engine slightly more reliable, so as not to arouse too much suspition in next years season when Ferrari once again win it.

Sheeesh!

Given the choice do you think Shumie would want to win the world championship at a French track or at the next track, in GERMANY? He didnt care if he won the championship there or at the next race.

Another good point! They knew France would be a tough race, I'm sure he would love to win it in front of his home crowd. Still, he has 2 other things to do this year:

1) Beat the record of 9 wins in a season (he has 8 so far)

2) Help to win Ferrari the constructors championship
