my car has a hole in the rear of the carpet in my zed, do they come in two halves ie: front and back, or is it all one piece, is it an easy change

When you say in the rear, is that the boot or in the back seat. It comes in 2 sections, the boot that splits at the back seat, then the interior including the front and back seats is the other part, which is gonna be quite a bit of work as the carpets go under the dash. I only know this from stripping the car i'm breaking. I have both carpets, I know the boot one has a small tear where it folds up at the back seats, but I was gonna get that stitched at work, I am not 100% sure on the condition of the front one but can have a closer look tomorrow when I will be at the car. I wouldnt be looking for much for them but the post might be quite a bit. They are black carpets btw.

yeah its the bit in the cockpit so to speak, wonder if i could somehow join it under the front seats, mine is black anyway, also mine is uk, is their any difference

An guessing there is but am not sure. Its a UK car i'm breaking so they must be the same. Surely it can be repaired as its easy enough to remove the seats front and back to pull the carpet up and allow the repair.

never thought of geting it repaired, may take it to my local interior specialist

Might be worth a try as i'd say changing the carper would be a nightmare.

Rear 1/4 panels out

 

And I believe that's about it! Half a days work really :D
