That's the trouble with news - they never give the full story straight away. I agree, now, that it's sad - looks like he stole the car in order to commit suicide.

i think holding someone at knifepoint and stealing their car is INEXCUSABLE no matter what the motive. the poor driver must have been terrified.

Exactly, why put someone elses life and emotional well being at risk just because you are an emotional lightweight imho it never gets so bad as to warrant commiting suicide there is always another way around a problem (mental instability not withstanding).

 

If the taxi driver was an owner/operator thats his livelyhood down the shitter - how long do you think his insurance company will drag their heels in replacing his car.
