the missus and i are going to treat ourselves to a couple of quads in the new year and i being an ex superbike owner kinda know what i need (fast/big) and the missus wants a mid-range jobbie  can anyone give any advice on which is best for price, power, spares and i forgott to mention they will be for off-road only.

ps: last quad i rode was a banshee and that was a blast

I got a 660cc Raptor, awesome fun.

In my experience, its not worth getting any of these Chinese £600 jobs of ebay, the frames are weak, and the engines are under powered, especially if using off-road.

Keep the thumb throttle, if fitted, It takes some getting used to after riding motorbikes for years, but makes it a shed load easier to control off-road.

Stick with the big name stuff, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc, it is more expensive, but it will last longer and take more punishment then a cheaper alternative.

Another banshee it is then!

Just cannot beat the sound of a tapped out 350LC!

They still make them you know. ;)

here's a quad i help with my mate its an r1 conversion was nice when finshed well i thinks so
