my beloved zed is havin a new turbo fitted (blew the last one) new clutch (blew the last one) and new brake master cylinder (again ... i blew the last one)lol

 

but it's goin to garage tomo and should have it back in a day or too!!!

 

I also have a new sound system on order!!!!!

 

should sound sweet as........... :) so I wanna show off my baby???

The reason you do them both is because your passenger side could fail (and likely will in time if it's an original) and then you've got to take the engine out again costing ££££'s. I've never heard of anyone doing just 1 before in the 5 years I've owned Zeds, it's false economy, fingers crossed for you mate. Where did Paul have it reconned Turbo dynamics?

Also i think that 1K for Hyeline to do two turbo's is quite reasonable? I've not found them to be the cheapest when i've had quotes but never actually used them? Has anyone else?

Yeah that does sound reasonable. I've heard a lot of nightmare stories about them in the past but that was sometime ago.

The one director is an ex Nissan mechanic, they had 2 zx's down there when I was there including one with the engine in and the turbos off.

my mechanic has worked on zed's before.... engine is staying put..... i got the turbo from paul at swz, i just need the car back on the road as she's my everyday car.

 

once fund's are a bit more fluid i'm gonna get them both done, but like I said it's gonna be a grand at least for 2 new ones, and thats without fiiting???

Hyeline charge 3K for mechanicals and the respray = 1.8K So I'm not gonna see my baby for at least 6 weeks, maybe more. Just intime for Japfest probably.
