bonnet vents

In a moment of madness I bought a couple of stylish(Ithink so)bonnet vents for the zed .I thought to fit them I could pop rivet them in place and bond them to the bonnet but ive been told that this wont work due to the curvature of the bonnet.Has anybody any ideas please as I need to fix then prior to repaint. Any advice greatly appreciated

    would agree if car was standard but have an Abflug bodykit and aftermarket nose panel and am going for individuality
