Hi guys and gales i had my 300zx na manual serviced the other day expensive anyway the problem im having is the car is missing terrible then all of a sudden power comes back the garage has said the 2 o2 sensors are failing and one of the coil packs is damaged is this the problem do you thinks any help would be great.

Featured Replies

O2 sensors can cause poor running, but not misfiring. if you have a duff coil pack it could be that. would start by checking the PTU & connectors, coil pack & injector connectors & the injectors themselves

aye, its normally burnt out old connectors that cause it?

Did they change the plugs at all

unseating the connectors can cause them to be a right pain.

Hi,

Sounds like the same prob I'm having!!!

I'm trying to source some new connectors to solve it but haven't found any yet.

Does anyone know where to get them???

someone posted a website about these a couple of weeks ago, theres a company in the states sellin the set for about $60, but i cant find it anywhere. i'll keep searching for ya mate.

Check the PTU connectors - if the cambelt was done then they will have been disturbed ;)

Cheers,

Andy
