I recently damaged the front bumper on my Z after hitting what can only be decribed as one of the deepest potholes I've ever seen. I wrote to the Gwynedd County Council and even included pictures, showing the pothole, and maps.

 

They wrote to me today saying that as nothing had come up in previous inspections so they weren't prepared to pay out.

 

It's funny how the fookers were out fixing all the potholes last week and now I receive this. I'm so pissed off it's untrue :rant:

 

If anyone has any advice on this I'd be glad to hear from you.

Send them a photo of the now fixed pothole - it's evidence that they considered it severe enough to fix it.

Yeah they must have inspected it in order for it to be filled!

Thanks guys. I phones them up about this and you have to prove negligence. Apparently no-one else reported it, (no surprises there) so there's basically fook all I can do.
