Gearbox mount is at the back of the 'box above the propshaft. Where to buy? Try Mike @ MJP or Danny @ DTA both in traders section on this site :)

And is it a big job? whats it involve? i think i will buy one today :)

Well it may not need replacing - do you get vibrations at ~40mph upwards? That would be an indication it has sagged...

Mine has a vibration above 40mph, I was thinking of starting with a new gearbox mount, I take it if its above the propshaft then I am going to have to remove the propshaft as well? Sounds like a big job.

Gearbox mount holds the gearbox up - sounds daft - sorry. It's not difficult to change but you'll need to get the car up on 4 axle stands and use a hydraulic Jack to hold the gearbox up whilst replacing the mount.

From memory - get car in the air, use a jack to hold gearbox up. remove the cross beam that holds the mount in place - remove mount - replace with new one.

It's advisable to check that your exhaust hangers are not placing too much weight onto the gearbox mount - they too sag with age and drag the mount further down than it should be.

Good luck

Vibration can be either rear mount OR the centre bearing, worth doing both of them while you're at it because if one has gone the other won't be far behind it...
