one thing that seems a little odd. how can it measure RPM plugged into a cig lighter ?

I had a racetech one which was aweful, but it looked very amateur. That does look pretty smart, but I have never used one

The Race Logic is meant to be the better one on the market.

Andy do you think it's any good?

To be honest I've only had a quick play with it. It is the absolute perfect size to fit in the cubby hole under the radio but unfortunately it needs to be located almost horizontally and that hole is just too steeply slanted. Therefore, I've never really played with it in the Z. But in my mates MR2 turbo we had a quick go and as long as you get the weight etc configured in then it has the potential to be quite accurate.

Why not just get a Blitz rev speed metre thats wired into the ecu and get accurate readings, mine did speed, revs, 0-60, 0-100, quater mile times, mile times and all sorts.

Gtech pro is only about £50 though and proven very accurate.

Actually, I have one of those too - also not installed !

The device that uses the accelerometer is probably more accurate as it measures force, not wheelspin etc.

And before Duffer corrects me, what I meant was that it measures acceleration and calculates force ! ;)
