Recirculating dumpvalves

My ZX is fitted with Blitz dumpvalves and they have never seemed as loud as i imagined they should but on closer examination i noticed that the oridional recirculating valves are still also conected so its not releasing all presure to atmosfer, The question is why??

Is there a reason that the recirc`s are still conected or can i just blank them off??

Will it cause idoling problems?

 

Any advise will be apreciated!!

    No reason at all for the stockies to be still connected, so yes you can remove them completly and blank off ( think it's a 32mm plug) just make sure the blank off is nice and tight.
