I have the flanged piece and the Sparco cap etc . So what would be the easiest and safest way to extend it without Blowing myself up ??

I see a few members on this forum have the wide body kits, so i thought smeone might be able to throw a few pointers my way !

I've seen the tech diagram on how to do it, as its a bit of a worry with all those fuel vapours wofting about . :nono:

any help in this area would be much appreciated

you have to take the cover off inside the wheel arch and cut the old filler neck, then you have to join the new flange to the old filler neck with the pipe provided, you also need to have a mate hang a magnert or something magnetic down the fille neck to catch all the bits

I have a few of your pics that im going to get the panel shop to go off .hope ya dont mind lololol

I followed your thread there for a while. My 1st kit stolen in shipping #*##$%

yeah, back to the flange .

Does the filler pipe come out for re-welding ? (never pulled that apart b4)

If not,how do you go welding the flanged piece back on without sparks getting to fuel gases etc ?

with a wide arch kit you buy a flush mount, the same as in the link below. this comes with everything needed to fit, you only have to cut the neck off as stella said.
